COVID-19 Precautions
JUNE 16, 2020
The clinic has re-opened under guidance from the Ministry of Health and Public Health Ontario with enhanced health and safety screening protocols.
What this means for our clients?
We are moving forward while focusing on keeping clients and our clinicians safe. We will continue to monitor updates and adjust our approach as guidelines from the Premier’s Office, the Ministry of Health and Public Health Ontario evolve.
At the present time, all clients will be required to complete an active screening interview or questionnaire prior to arriving at the clinic.
If you do not pass the active screening, then you will be asked to complete your appointment online and to contact Public Health Ontario.
If you do pass the active screening, you can feel at ease knowing that we are enforcing social distancing (2 metres) and enhanced sanitation procedures within the office.
These include:
Active and Passive Screening
administering a standardized COVID-19 active screening tool over the phone and online before scheduling appointments, when possible and upon entry to the clinic,
maintaining social distancing (2 metres) from clients and other office staff, and,
displaying signage at points of entry of the facility and at
reception, using the latest case definition for COVID-19. We also have similar messaging online.
Sanitation, Health and Safety
disinfecting all contact services within offices between appointments,
disinfecting all contact services within common areas twice daily as per recent expert guidance from Public Health Ontario,
providing masks for clients and staff who chose to wear one, and,
requiring all clients to sanitize their hands prior to entering an office or therapy room.
We are looking forward to seeing new and returning faces as we move into this next Phase. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us should you have any questions.
Please Note: some services are not available in-person at this time, including the University of Toronto Clinic
Sincerely,
The Well Said Team
